Yes, it’s not herbal, but it works for me. I use fertility awarness method. Tell her to look it up. You monitor when you ovulate. And you can either avoid *** during those couple days or use a condom, diapharm, ect.

There supposedly are, but the effectiveness is nowhere close to other hormonal birth control. You know that song “Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Thyme” - it’s apparently a reference to herbal birth control methods hippies used. Still, I would stick to condoms if you don’t want to take birth control pills.

Those who use herbal birth control methods also track their ovulation cycle. This takes a decent amount of effort, and pregnancy is still a strong possibility. I wouldn’t do it, but if this is something you’re interested in and you aren’t absolutely against the possibility of pregnancy, then maybe you might want to start researching it.

P.S. I’ve never gained weight on birth control - I’m currently on Yaz (I’ve lost 5 pounds on this) and before I was on Ortho Tri-Cyclen.
