Soda contains a lot of sugar… substitute your soda for water and then you have a shot… keep up the cardio and you can incorporate weight training as well.
Why don’t you eliminate ’soda’ from your diet all together. Diet cokes and such are worse than regualars. Anyway, why do you want to lose weight. Theres been a overhauling of the ‘thin is attractive’ media rubbish anyway. It’s been replaced by women with fuller figures.
stick to water, green tea and lowfat milk…No Sodas at all please!i dont think 3 times a week is adequate for losing weight..try to increase your workouts..
Swap you can of soda for a glass of milk/water/juice
dont rely on anyfriends, even if they want to loose weight too, they may not be too reliable, and may make you feel bad if you dont loose as much weight as you want.
go out shopping for a whole new range of food, swap white bread to brown bread, etc
also you could find a pair of jeans that is a size too small, and work your way to fitting into them, after youve fit into them, and you want to lose more weight then you can buy another pair one more size too small, and work your way to your new goal!
Losing weight is all about calories in and calories out (burned as an energy source) Even that diet soda has calories in it..the best thing to do is just give them up and stay with water…years ago I used to easily drink 5 Pepsi’s a day..that’s all during the 17 or so hours I was awake…I was working out twice a day and still couldn’t drop the weight I wanted to…I just dropped them out of my intake and switched to every other day on the workout and still watched what I ate and the weight started to drop..For my last show I started my diet plan 8 weeks out and went from 175 lbs at 11% body fat to 160 at 6%..I hardly tried and still lost 15lbs in eight weeks…
Now I’m at 175 with 8% heading for another show but trying to keep the weight at no less then 172 lbs and be at the 6% range again. That’s going well so far with little effort becasue I’m very careful about what and when I eat…
Replancing your sodas with water will also make you feel a little full but the water is needed. One of the best diet formats ideas is to drink a glass of water if you feel as if you want some ice cream…you may still eat a little, but it won’t be nearly as much because you still feel full from the water..
Keep up the exercise…if a gym is near you that you can join that would help so you can add some weight for some resistance training..you won’t bulk up so don’t worry about that…try to just drop the sodas all together…I’ve been away from them for so long, even If I take just a sip it feels as if I’m drinking from the sugar dish….that remines me quickly why I gave them up…yes I miss the taste, but I don’t need the calories that mostly convert to fat…
