I’ve never heard of weight gain bringing on a period.
Because you work on though you may just be gaining some muscle mass. You never know.
I would say though that you would probably be getting it by the end of this month because it looks like you get it every third month.
Irregularity is normal, some women take a long time to get regular. Besides birth control there’s no natural ways or other ways to regulate your period. Your body has to do that to it;s own time.
Stress, recent changes in exercise and diet though will throw off your period.

PCOS can though…

hormones changes can lead to missed periods, weight gain, hair growth, etc…

dont worry too much though its a very common condition… see you ob/gyn

weight gain does not happen during late periods. weight gain is when you are skipping meals that you eat regularly. or if you have gotten pregnant then that might be what has been causeing the weight gain. but your period does not cause a slight weight gain. and yes probably your baby is devloping xD lol

If you are not currently taking birth control, then I suggest that you visit your OB/GYN. Anytime, we women have problems with our periods it is a sign that something is out of whack with our bodies. If you are on birth control, the way that you take it could be causing the irregular periods (for example, if you do not take it at the same time each day or forget pills etc, it could easily throw off your cycle.) If you continue to gain weight, you should visit a regular doctor, it could be your thyroid or pos (polycystic ovarian syndrome).. .I hope everything works out for you.

Are your periods heavy and painful or so light they’re pointless? Have you noticed any excess body hair or your mood changing? If so i would go to your doctor as there is a possibility you may have polycystic ovaries. it could also be your pill if you are on one! i would go and talk to your doctor about it and find out excatly what is going on
